Obviously his close family will wish his return no matter what stupid thing he does, notice they are all asking for forgiveness in addition to his release though, do relatives of people held captive by someone like the taliban or ISIS say the same? Even the second guy says 'no matter what wrong thing he did do not kill him'. Do you genuinely think they are happy with or supported his career choice.
