Kashmir: Mob beat police officer’s wife, daughter

The wife and daughter of a police officer were today beaten up by a mob protesting the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
“A mob attacked the house of Sub Inspector Mohammad Ashraf Pal at Chandrigam and beat up his wife and daughter. Both were injured in the attack,” a police official said.
The injured duo were shifted to Sub District Hospital Awantipora where their condition is stated to be stable.
Pal, who is posted as duty officer at Sangam police post in Bibjehara area of Anantnag district, was not at home at the time of the attack.
The mob ransacked Pal’s house, causing extensive damage to the building, the official said.

Quite possible but I see a clear divide in Kashmir this time people are very angry not only with Hindus army but also against anyone who supports them which is a good sign from Kashmiris point of view as they need to get rid of snakes among them.
