Kashmir is Jugular vein of Pakistan: Salman Taseer
LAHORE: Governor Punjab Salman Taseer said that Kashmir is Jugular vein of Pakistan and jugular vein cannot be handed over to enemy.
He expressed these views during a meeting with former Primer Minister of AJK Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry.
As per details, Governor Punjab has said Kashmiri people are sacrificing since long time and Pakistan will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support at each platform, he said international community has realized that Kashmir issue is the bone of contamination between India and Pakistan and it should be solved.
During the meeting with former Prime Minister of AJK Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry here in Governor house Lahore, he said Pakistan government is trying its best to solve the issue and government is fully supporting AJK government and that is the reason that budget of Azad Kashmir has been increased.
He said Kashmir is the Jugular vein of Pakistan and vein jugular cannot be separated and international community should realize the importance of the issue.
Former Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry informed Governor regarding the problems of migrates of AJK and affectees of Mungla Dam, Governor Punjab assured former Prime Minister that their government will fully support the migrates and affectees of Mangla Dam.
He said, Kashmir and Punjab are sharing special relations and we will support Kashmir issue at every cost, member of assembly Dewan Ghulam Muhiuddin, former member assembly Chaudhry Maqbool, member Kashmir council Chaudhry Hameed, leader PPP AJK Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain and others also joined the meeting for some time.
Dewan Ghulam Muhiuddin and Chaudhry Maqbool discussed the issues of their areas with Governor Punjab and Governor assured both leaders that he would take personal interest to solve the issues.
