Kashmir: Clashes erupt in Shopian village

Srinagar: Clashes on Thursday erupted in a Shopian village after forces raided the house of a Hurriyat leader, reports said adding several protesters sustained injuries.

People came on roads in Chitragam village of Shopian district and started raising slogans after the government forces raided the house of Mohammad Yousuf Fallahi, district president of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

Fallahi according to police is accused of organising dozens of anti-India rallies. Fallahi is evading arrest and was recently declared as proclaimed offender by police.

Government forces used tear smoke canisters to disperse the protesters who pelted stones on them. Soon the clashes spread to nearby Mulu village.

They put women and children in front of protests as human shields and as result when the stone chucking starts security forces retaliate using pellets, rubber bullets and tear gas. Guess why those sympathy posts keep popping up about some 5,10,15 yr old injured.

So when the chucking starts, let them scream hoarse. Ultimately they will sit down and we will pour cold water on their heads. Good thing is that next generation of Kashmiris will be well educated. Once they see the benfits of a professional lifestyle and national unity, these old buzzards will die off.....

I don't understand the morality of these Indians at one point they talk about stone pellets. but on the other hand they close there eyes on direct fire of there security forces on civilians. more than 100 died several lost there eyes and injured.
secondly why don't these guys understand that Kashmir is a disputed land and they cannot use that kind of force in such a manner as they did in Punjab in 1984 to suppress Sikhs.
