Karoonjhar Mountains: Commanding Heights

I bumped into this thread and guess what it felt like a dream come true. Really impressed by the knowledge displayed here. I once read a book on an imaginary Indo pak war by Ravi rikhye ,going through this thread brought back its memories.

One of my all time favorites. This book and "The War That Never Was", by the same writer.

Certain infrastructure already exists around these areas but as such surveillance of our formations is fairly high since the Indians now own space as well. So the trick now is to keep moving around and keep them guessing where what is.

Any static forces will get mauled by the air because of lack luster air defence capability of formations and infrastructure against stand off munitions.

Bringing back an old topic; Does the induction of the HQ-9P make this idea of building a mountain stronghold on the border viable?

Not exactly - the hq-p is a marksman rifle to a layered system that needs a carbine and a shotgun. Moreover, longer range standoff systems with penetration warheads make a fortress a non-starter.
What is needed are dispersed systems capable of rapid relocation and attack
