KARACHI: The anti-terrorism court on Wednesday allowed law enforcement agencies to apprehend Lyari gangwar leader Uzair Baloch in five different terrorism cases, ARY News reported.

Baghdadi and Kalri police stations had filed plea with the court seeking permission to arrest Baloch in five different cases.

The gangster is facing cases of attacking police during Lyari operation in 2012. He has also been declared proclaimed offender by the court.

In April this year, Baloch reportedly confessed his involvement in over 197 murders. Among these murders also included the killings of more than ten traders who were gunned down at Sher Shah scrap market.
