Karachi map of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Hi guys,

Today I was playing COD MW2 and I was put into Karachi map and for a moment I was surprised as COD always focuses on areas which are unstable and pit US/UK army/ marines against Opnet. What do you guys think of putting 'Karachi map' into COD. Is it making Pakistan famous for all bad reasons????

it was a big when i first played on it.

But end of day its just a game. But it does mirror America's perception of Pakistan.

^^ it's not US perception, I won't be surprised if next iteration of COD shows Peshawar map or Lal Masjid map of Lahore or Marriot hotel map of Islamabad..wake up buddy! nobody can be fooled for long not even a dumb american xbox live gamer.

PPL can made custom maps and guess some Pakistan "friendly" made one.... big deal.

But this one I mentioned is official which means players from around can play where as unofficial maps can't be played on xbox live network.

Nope nothing wrong with it as a brother mentioned on pc, gamers can customize and create their own maps. If you've played cod a fair amount, im sure you've seen how badly they depicted Afghanistan in the Afghan map, I'm infact glad that they didn't make Karachi look like a complete shithole like they did with Afghanistan.

Do you play on xbox bro? Whats your k/d ratio?

i Have ended Modern warfare 2 but don't remember any Karachi map init, are you talking about multiplayer??

i also play XBOX sometime in system link with my friends...i must say that the map of Karachi wasn't perfect, the writing on the shops board were in Arabic not in Urdu! although it is a huge map...not so easy to play...anyway it's just a game....remember that we also fight in Washington DC against Russian invasion, so do you think that Russia will invade U.S. in future?!

The map is nothing like karachi. Arabic all over teh walls. And the city itself is like bombed for like 200 years....

The name Karachi is only similar to orignal karachi nothing else.

Its jus a map, and you have to select a team, depends on the mode ur playing
