Direct attack : the problem with this option is the necessary logistics and the obvious " out in the open" option for world scrutiny....especially when world powers are trying hard to resolve afghanistan.
proxies : has not helped since independence......expensive..possible backfire
are there any other options ?
No one is resolving Afghanistan its deteriorated
Pakistan has got to grips with terrorism by in large and it has been greatly reduced
This week has been a spike against soft populated targets and this is something we will have to bare for years as resolving situation iis something that will take decades not years
But if proxies are going to be used against Pakistan and civilians then not doing the same against our enemies iis not an option
