India constantly gives empty nuclear threats to China.
As of now India only has one nuclear missile capable of reaching major Chinese cities of Shanghai and Beijing, the Agni-4. That only if launched from North of Odessa in east and Kashmir border in west.
Agni 5 doesn't count as not deployed yet.
K series doesn't count for same reason

Amidst rising concern of China over successful test firing of ICBM Agni-V, India is contemplating a fresh test of its longest range submarine-launched ballistic missile, code named K-4, which is capable of delivering nuclear warhead over 3,500 km away.
Sources said, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is planning to conduct the test from an undersea platform in the Bay of Bengal by month-end.

An impression of K-4 missile

“The platform is being readied for the test. If everything goes as per the programme, the weapon system, which has caught the attention of enemy nations, will be tested as per schedule,” the source told ‘The Express’ on Sunday.
Though it is yet to be known whether the test would be conducted from a submerged pontoon (replica of a submarine) or the indigenously developed submarine INS Arihant, it would be from a platform nearly 30 feet deep in the sea.

Once the platform is ready, movement of tracking systems and Naval ships to the area of mission will be made, the source informed. This would be third test of the missile even as none of the tests has officially been revealed.

The DRDO, which has designed and developed the missile, had kept the project secret till its first test in March 2014. The missile, world’s best in this class, will have to undergo a couple of more developmental trials before being inducted in the armed forces.

The intermediate range submarine launched ballistic missile (SLBM) is about 12 metres tall with a diameter of 1.3. It weighs around 17 tonnes and can carry a warhead weighing up to 2,000 kg. The missile is powered by solid rocket propellant.

“This time an advanced variant of the missile will be tested to validate new technologies incorporated in the system. The test would be for a higher range also,” the source added.
A successful trial of the missile would strengthen the country’s position in the exclusive club of six nations including Russia, USA, France, UK and China which have the capability of firing nuclear tipped missiles from air, land and undersea.

A defence scientist said, this manoeuvrable missile having an innovative system of interlacing in three dimensions can also cruise at a hypersonic speed. “This exceptional feature of the weapon system makes it difficult to be tracked easily and destroyed by any anti-ballistic missile defence system. The missile has a high accuracy of near-zero circular error probable (CEP),” he said.

India has so far planned three missiles in the K-series. While the 700-km range K-15, renamed as B-05 (tested10 times) and 3,500 km range K-4 have been developed, the K-5 will have a striking capability of over 5,000 km. All the K-series missiles are faster, lighter and stealthier.

China has failed foreign policy. Its a disaster, it could have easily kept both India and Pakistan as friend. No matter what the forum members say but its not good to have strained relationship with anyone. India is one the important countries in SE Asia. China could have easily found middle ground with our demands. They will realise their mistake but by the time it will be too late. India US are cooperating more than ever, soon results will be seen. In this kind of game, US is top class.

China has been swiftly upgrading its air bases closer to Indian border, a development that not only could facilitate sustained military operations but also protect Beijing’s assets such as fighter jets and ground equipment from aerial attacks.

Indian security agencies have apprised the government how major work was on at Hotan airfield in Xinjiang, just north of Jammu and Kashmir; at Lhasa and also at the base at Heping-Shigatse, both in Tibet. Already last year, Heping-Shigaste, located 220 km north of Doklam, the India-China-Bhutan tri-junction, had been upgraded to have a second runaway.

At Hotan, several large hangars (concrete structures to house planes) have been built. Permanent hangars are also being built at Heping-Shigatse. At Lhasa, aerially just 330 north-east of Sikkim, a hangar built inside a mountain was almost ready and a new taxiway had also come up, Indian security agencies have said.

The first tip-off about military upgrade at Lhasa had come on January 25 this year when a US-based think-tank, Stratfor, released satellite images of air bases at Lhasa and Shigaste. Stratfor’s report, ‘Preparing for a rematch at the top of the world’, claimed build-up by China and India despite the end of the 73-day military stand-off at Doklam.

Besides Hotan, China has another airfield at Xinjiang in Kashgar. In all, it has a dozen airfields in Tibet, including the Ngari Gunsa, just 200 km east of Ladakh, or Nyingchi, just 100 km north of Arunachal Pradesh.

In response, India also has same number of Advanced Landing Grounds (ALG). In Arunachal Pradesh, Tuting, Waliong, Along, Passighat and Mechuka exist while in Ladakh, India has DBO, Nyoma and Fukche as ALGs and full-fledged airfields at Leh, Kargil and Thoise.
