.
How did it help?

Nukes and missiles were deployed against Republic of India

CIA prepared an National Intelligence Estimate on Chinese nuclear weapons during 1961, it remains to be declassified that Chinese Communist Advanced Weapons Capabilities," 25 April 1962,

On July 10, 1962, around 350 Chinese troops surrounded an Indian post at Chushul

well, the China's first nuclear test was in 1964. So I don't know what you are talking about.

Also, why did JFK's refusal help? Are you saying without such a help, India couldn't survive on it's own? China was fighting with India, not with the rest of the world. China only admits that it beat India, didn't beat the rest of the world.

Missiles, Nuke, advanced weapon systems, 80,000 vs 10,000, etc. They would go any length to find excuses for their embarrassing defeat.

Oh we are good at work as well, wonder why your glorious economy is slowing down while ours is gathering momentum?

Plz, Even with slow down, what's ur place to boast to a 11 trillion economy from a 2 trillion? Even with 7 percent growth, we will add an entire India within 3 years. Not mention ur growth numbers all doctored

China is the capital of fakes and liars. FYI your foreign reserves are depleting so fast that they will be gone in 3-4 years. Enjoy while they last!

Read carefully US and Indian Intelligence agencies reports about Chinese Nuclear Programme. I have already posted sources on many threads.

Cuba Missile crisis even took place during that period only.

During the 1960s and 1970s, Soviet missiles and warplanes shot down an estimated 1,700 US military aircraft and it was Soviet tanks that rammed the gates of the Doc Lap presidential palace in Saigon on April 1975, the day when the North Vietnamese Army took the capital of South Vietnam.

1962 was a low intensity border war, for gods sake, and no air force was involved. What point are you trying to make by listing out the inventory of both air forces back then? China had more fighter jets so you lost a freaking fist fight?

You even made up the story of Chinese 1962 nuke to justify your embarrassing defeat. If you represented the typical mindset of Indians, I am afraid India could be in great danger again, should there be another war with China, as your lot do have the mentality of typical losers----making up excuses.

Why not drop this missile and just develop a submarine variant of agni 5 or 6? Better range and more cost effective.

.
The chinese became big boys at a bad time. They can never dominate like the US or Russia at their peak. Nor will they get any respect. Just one of the P5 who vetos anything against their interest.

K-4 is just one more platform they won't be liking at all. They know the fact that they cannot bully india with their economy or with their weapons. India is the only country along with russia who is capable of resisting such bully's in their background.

Please stop acting , We Indians are aware how cold war has changed Indian terrirtories .

China occupied 38,000 square kilometers of territory in Aksai Chin in the northeastern corner of Jammu and Kashmir. This territory remains under its control. Besides, Beijing is also holding 5,180 square kilometers of land in Kashmir ceded to it by Pakistan in 1963.

In the 1962 war, Chinese troops also advanced into territory in India’s northeast but retreated subsequently. Beijing continues to lay claim to around 90,000 square kilometers of territory here, roughly approximating Arunachal Pradesh or what it refers to as "Southern Tibet".

China would use her three airfields at Jeykundu (12,467 feet), Chamdo (10,597 feet) and Nachu (14,763 feet) in the east, though the utility of Nachu was limited due to its height. Lanchou, Zinning and Kunming were too far away from the front

The airfields that China could use were Khotan and Kashgar and both were located at heights between 4000 to 5000 feet; hence the payload factor was favourable compared to her airfields in the east. The Western Command assessment of 9 April, 1960 was that the Chinese could interfere with our own Air support operations as also carry out offensive air raids against our forward posts. On the other hand, airbases like Leh, Thoise and Kargil, which were closer to Eastern Ladakh, could not support fighter operations. As a result, support had to come from the plains, restricting loiter time over the area and the striking range.

Transport Aircraft of the IAF in 1962
Type of aircraft Quantity

AN-12 1 Squadron (7x aircraft)
Dakota 2Squadrons* (8 x aircraft each)
Fairchild Packet 2 Squadrons*
IL -14 1 Squadron*
Otter/Caribou (Light Transport) 2 Squadrons

Air Commodore Jasjit Singh has maintained that the IAF had only 300 frontline aircraft organized in 18 Squadrons.

India constantly gives empty nuclear threats to China.
As of now India only has one nuclear missile capable of reaching major Chinese cities of Shanghai and Beijing, the Agni-4. That only if launched from North of Odessa in east and Kashmir border in west.
Agni 5 doesn't count as not deployed yet.
K series doesn't count for same reason
