I doubt if China would be flying its most secret kept aircraft around and above heavily populated cities. China is huge in size, they can surely test these birds on something similar to what US has in the form of Area-51. Don't you think so?

its doughtful that anything coming form china will be top of the line, they will have to surpass the russians on tech before they can compete with U.S.A and I Just don´t see the chinese beating the Russians anytime soon...

What is comparison between a failed/canceled project YF-23 and future top-of-the-line air-superiority stealth fighter? Have a look at YF-23 that there are only 2 (Yes No. Two) of them that exist. About J-XX, you don't even know a thing and you want to compare them? Wakeup!

You can't call YF-23 as a failed project. According to many reports it was better than YF-22 in some areas..stealth being one of them. If YF-23 would have ever entered service (with US or allies) F-22A and F-23 BW would have been the top line 5th gen fighters followed by others.

well now the Widow its 20+ years old and the chinese had time to catch up, so now its fare to compare them...back in the late 80´s no way...
