While more than 200 TFX for the Air Force.

It costs way too much to maintain 5th generation fighters. There is no way they will be going for that many.

New naval doctrine is already on its way. All those ships/missiles are either design phase or under construction ! %95 of those projects are pure domestic excluding U-214TN and LHD designs. All of them are being constructed in Turkish shipyards. The contribution of Turkish industry for U-214TN submarines are around %80 for example.

Aselsan developed torpedo counter measure system strategic naval vessels called "Hizir" which is the sole torpedo defence system of Turkish naval ships. Aselsan Hizir replace BAE's SeaSentor torpedo defence systems in Milgem class !

Step by step Turkish naval projects !

-Third Milgem will be launched into sea in 2016.

-First U-214TN welding ceremony is also done ! Totally 6 U-214TN with around %80 national contribution will be constructed.

-I class frigate design is finalized. Production of first I class will be commenced around 2017. 8 I class is planned to be constructed.

16 Atmaca SSM(250km range), 16 cell MK-41 launchers with ESSM-Block-2 + Hisar missiles, CIWS, Hizir Torpedo defence system, 250km range smart-S mk-2 radar with Aselsan T/R modules

-7000t TF-2000 design is in final phase. CAFRAD design will just have some changes on production phase. The general design of hull will be more or less like related image. It is going to change all power balance of region thanks to sensor + missiles.

Around 1000km diameter search&tracking range, 900km diameter IFF range, Hundreds of km Electronic attack capabilities, 250km Atmaca anti-ship missiles, 180km range SM-2 Block-IV missiles, Active 48 MK-41 launchers, Gezgin LACM launch capabilities (1000+km)

-The main strategic sensor of TF-2000 project is named as CAFRAD which is proceeding with a seperate schedule in Aselsan REHIS installations. CAFRAD is the direct equivalent of USA AEGIS AN-SPY-1D radars in terms of range and capacity.

IFF range of this strategic radar will be around 900km diameter.

-Turkish type Assault boat + CAFRAD radar is in final phase. The production of 70m boats are planned in 2016 (10 boats).
This project aims to have a Turkish type assault boat having a similar firepower to a frigate on 60knots speed.

Final concept of Turkish aircraft carrier like LHD + F-35B

Torpedo defence system, Combat management system, Self defence systems and radars will be similar to our new 140m LST project. Adik LST will be the smaller example of LHD called Anatolia in terms of electronics and sensors.

Not only Land Forces, but also Police and Navy will receive national helicopters within 3 years. Tusaş is developing national 5 tonnes twin engine helicopters for the requirements of Turkish security forces at present. The helicopter will use same engine with T-129 Atak assault helicopters !

Has the construction begun on Turkish LHD?

Turkey needs significant presence in high space in order to be a significant oceanic power of 21st century.

Along with TÜRKSAT, defense company ASELSAN, TÜBİTAK Space Technologies Research Institute, Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) and technology company CTech are also involved in the project.

The national satellite will be completed in the next four to five years and the 5-ton satellite will be launched in 2020. The satellite will orbit the Earth at 42 degrees east meridian,36,000 kilometers away from the surface of the Earth.

Upon completion of the national satellite, a launch pad will be required. Gül notes that, in order to be completely independent in terms of space technologies, Turkey also needs to successfully construct the satellite and manufacture the launch pad. "Once we accomplish this, Turkey will be the leading country in terms of space technologies," Gül added.

Ours are not capable of Nukes.

And a small note. We already have 14 Type-209s. Those 6 new Type-214s will replace Atılay Class.
