Hi, I was in Pak a. Kashmir for 1 month and got back to UK yesterday.
Damn I miss it great food, people to talk too, a place full of action, weather was good, most of the time but abit cold at night. First week there in a. Kashmir and already PPL dying from going off the bridge in a van one which one of them was a relative and then next day a Suzuki daba went off the bridge as well and ppl died.
Some rules to remember, make sure you have filled in the journey form or passenger location form titled (UK and immigration) I think that's what they are called. I believe I lost mine at the Islamabad airport. So the plane lands in the UK and an announcement was made to have this (UK and immigration form) ready which I lost. A good amount of passengers did not fill in this form and were in panic mode and most of them didn't know. We were told no form you will be fined 100 pounds or more. Border police everywhere like NKVD. Lucky they allowed us to use our fones to qr code a link to a website and fill in online, and then we proceeded to move on to the next step of the airport security checks.
Get your corona test at Excel labs in mirpur it will cost 6,200 rupees. Make sure the person spells your name correctly and correct age. Some reason they make mistakes even if you give your passport to copy name. The test result will arrive next day to your email on your fone for you to print out.
Corruption at Islamabad airport yes you will be asked to place 2,000 rupees in passport by some security dressed in military uniform. If you carry prohibited items or overload. Nope it wasnt me but a relative, with too many cigarettes.
