Article 63 g clearly states he can't be member of Parliament for 5 years from the date of his release.I think Contempt of court would entitle the court to Jail him or fine him. To disqualify a person as Prime Minister is strange. The only grounds on which they can do that is that he is not qualified to be an Member of Parliament (Pakistan equivalent) because of the election technicalities.
Constitution states he can't be member of Parliament, since he was no longer member of parliament he can't be their leader. They have followed the constitutional SOP and no overstepping has occurred.I think the Judiciary has overstepped its authority and infringed on the constitutional rights of the Members of Parliament to elect their leader.
Also they didn't issue the disqualification notice, they ruled that he was in violation of article 63 g as a convicted criminal and stood disqualified since Apr 26th, the Election Commission of Pakistan issued him the disqualification notice in light of the ruling.
