JSQM leader Bashir Qureshi dies at the age of 54

You are the first one who is saying that he was (or JSQM) is a murderer ... Are You Sure You Are Talking About Bashir Qureshi (Not Altaf) And JSQM (Not MQM). Than It Would Be Breaking News For World, Because There is not a single allegation or case pending against JSQM or Bashir .... So Please No Doubt We can't buy his argue for an independent Sindh. But There is no doubt at all that his or JSQM's whole struggle was peaceful from day one. He always denounced terrorism and violence. His Struggle was based only on Facts and words. So he never harmed, or was any threst to Pakistan, that's why Pakistani Military or Agencies never targeted JSQM or Bashir Quresi. So called Pro-Pakistani politicians have harmed more to the nation and country. So my SALUTE to him for being always peaceful and asking his workers for a peaceful struggle. That's why not a single people harmed or a property damaged after his demise. May Allah Bless Him With Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Amen

Poison found in JSQM chief’s visceral samples

KARACHI: A poison called Organophosphorus was detected in the visceral samples of deceased Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi in an analysis conducted by the Dow International Medical College (DIMC), it emerged here on Thursday. “The poison might have been mixed in the food deceased had taken about four to six hours prior to his death”, said the Incharge of Forensic Medicine Department, DIMC, Prof Umer Memon at a press conference held in the conference room of Sindh Health Secretary’s office. Special Secretary of the department, Dr Suresh Kumar, and few other members of the board were also present on this occasion. Prof Memon said that Qureshi’s postmortem was conducted in the Chandka Medical College Hospital in a time of 15 to 20 minutes. According to it, his death occurred between 1 am to 2 am of April 7. “We conducted the first meeting of board on April 12 in the presence of all 15 members including Prof Hasan Memhood, Prof Ghulam Ali, Prof Kartar, Dr Ashraf Khaskheli, Dr Akbar Qazi, Prof Murtuza Pathan, Prof Ghulam Qadir Kaheri, Dr Waqar Ahmed Sheikh, Abdul Khaliq Abro, Dr Anwar Ali Akhund, Dr Ghulam Sarwar Pirzada, Police Surgeon Larkana, Assistant Police Surgeon Larkana, and Director Chemical Laboratory Karachi”, said Prof Memon. He said that the board decided to use three laboratories of Dow Medical College, including its Chemical and Pathological Laboratories, to analyse the visceral samples taken from Qureshi’s body. “The decision was taken up because of the high-profile nature of case”, he claimed. He said, “The visceral samples had been divided into two parts, one for microscopy and the other for chemical microscopy, adding that the Organophosphorus was detected in Chemical Examination’s Analytical Report. Regarding a board member, Dr Abdul Qayyum Rajper’s viewpoint who termed poisoning a cause of Qureshi’s death, Prof Memon said, “It’s Rajpers’ opinion and at this instance, I can neither verify nor reject it”. He further said, “I can’t say if the chemical worked like ‘slow poison’ but all of the visceral samples taken from Qureshi’s body did have its traces”. Prof Memon said, “There is no pressure on me or on the medical board”, adding that Qureshi suffered a mild heart stroke in the past but recovered from it.” He further added, “As this medical board’s head, I suggests the chemical examination of these visceral samples be conducted by an authentic foreign laboratory”. It may be mentioned here that the Daily Times was first to report that the JSQM chief’s death occurred due to unnatural causes. The story was published in the newspaper’s April 8th edition. asghar azad
