100 crore? Not a chance 70 crore is more of in a maybe line

.
42 Crore Rs which is about 4 million $. Comparing it with India's highest grossing, which was Dangal which took about 310 million USD. Don't know what happened or where we got left behind? May be it was paindu culture or 9/11 war or zia Islamist mentality, don't really know why we got left behind this far.

42 Crore tou gross hai for a very successful film, now imagine k budget kitna ho ga iss film ka, 10 se 20 crore? Abb uss me saroon ko kitna kitna pay hota ho ga, equipment costs, advertising costs. Don't think actors/actresses, and movie crew are getting paid as good as in India.

Kiyon? Monday ko laug join nahi kar sktay? Thora elaborate karoo, kiya new members threads pe reply nahi kar sktay?

Or are you implying that I am Indian? Sorry bhaiya(or may be should I call you a 'thing' too) I am neither conspiracy theorist nor delusional. Agar ilzaam laganey ki salihiyat hai tou thora replies bhi dekh loo k kis kis ko kiya reply kiya hai.

Btw, I am sure admins/moderators of this site can see the IP and if you ask them they can assure you about my ISP not being of India or any other non Pakistani country. Aur mera nahi khiyal k koi site ya software Pakistani IP for proxy/vpn provide karta ho ga. Aur even agar koi software/site Pakistani IP provide karti bhi ho gi tou, I am sure it wouldn't be free. And it would be really laughable for me to spending on a VPN which would cost around 10$ a month just to browse through this site.

I mean kamal hai bhiyaa abb loog itnay delusional ho gye hain k agar Pakistan movie k baray me agar comment kiya jiye k it should be earning more, so that industry grows and the actors/crew should be getting paid so much more that other countries would want to work in Pakistan. I mean my original question still stand, why are we not making as much as money out of a movie as compared to Indian movies? Population is one thing, but abhi bhi loog idher indian movies dekhtay hain. Tou hum ne kya kiya, ya kya nahi kiya k hum Indian market me penetrate nahi kar skay? Actors kisi mulk k nahi hotay, jidher zyada paisa dekhay ga woo dhooray chaliey jaain gay, look at Atif Aslam, Ali zaffar, Rahat etc. So why couldn't we make our industry so big that it would seem lucrative to actors from other countries.

Indian movies just earned more because of China only recent indian movies which earned 1000s of crores indians should just thanked to china for that as recent indians movies released in china just did the same what Pakistani music & TV serials did and doing in india its like a fresh air for locals nothing else......i bet if these Pakistani films release in China the way some aamir khan films released Pakistani movies can do the same business and for chinese we boths are same with Pakistanis a bit more elegant looking.

Shabash ilzaam lagao aur phir ch___ bun jao, agar koi apnay app ko defend karay, kuch sharam hoti hai, kuch hiya hoti hai. I would like an admin/mod to intervene in this thread. I am new to this site, so I don't exactly know all the rules of this site or how to contact a mod/admin. But I did not start any of this, but if the thread goes into abuse mode than I shouldn't be held responsible, since I am not the one who started any of this.

Summary: He starts a thread, I commented on this thread, he blames of being from the East (which is more than likely India since that is the only country that I could think of related to movie industry, Bangladesh is no way near in success), he calls me in a derogatory term as 'this thing' should be shown exit. To which I replied him by giving respect and calling him bhaiya which he clearly doesn't deserve, also giving him a solution to his claim/doubt that he should contact mod/admin to check my IP. Me tou chalo naya hoon mushkil se admin/mod ko contact kar paoon. Tum tou 2012 se ho, chawalien marney aur ilzaam laganay ki bjayie pooch he loo admins se.

Before talking about earning

First Pls check

Pakistan vs India (Population)
Pakistan vs India (No. of Cinema)
Pakistan vs India (No. of Cities having cinemas)
No. of Biased Pakistani who will prefer Indian movies even if its rubbish
Pakistan give Indian movies Top(Rush Hour) slots
Access too Pirated (Free) Indian Movies

also add Pakistan is free Market where any country can compete including India where same language give india some edge, on the other side indians are not free to watch what they want and due to the same language and protect indian film industry from Pakistan, indian govt is having a blanket ban on all Pakistani entertainment channels and films to avoid any competition.

its not just language. They also give prime slot to Indian movies. Govt. should add some tax on indian movies & Pakistani Movies should get prime slots.

or what about charging every foreign channels amount? the ways indians do why Pakistan always offers free party to every one why not regularize everything.

This movie literally tried to become more Bollywood than Bollywood itself...

Anyone watching from abroad wont know the difference between indian and Pakistani movies! No personal touch! Even the clothes resembled more indian than Pakistani :undecided:

For the time being I will ignore the aggressive tone. Sure the population is an obvious issue here(which I mentioned in my second comment, and I know one can overlook it since the discussion diverted somewhere else). Cinema's are there obviously to cater that population, simple rule of demand and supply. Hmm, so how to cater the other 3....

on the other side indians are not free to watch what they want and due to the same language and protect indian film industry from Pakistan, indian govt is having a blanket ban on all Pakistani entertainment channels and films to avoid any competition.

We have done that with Indian channels, but I don't think same could be done with the movies. An obvious reply would be banning their movies but the main issue is the number of movies made in Pakistan. Aggar quantity pe jain gey tou quality ka compromise karna parey ga. To fill the gap even agar English movies ko Urdu dubbing kar k bhi dekhana shroo karien, but there is still that niche which craves for lovey dovey 5 songs type movies, have to fill that gap and keep the cinema's profiting.

Hmmm, there must be some solution to this. Agar achi movies he buss itna profit karti rahein gi tou laug movies bnanay se darien gay k zyada budget k baad flop na hoo jai. The only solution which I feel is that loogoon ki living conditions itni behtar ho jain, k laug ziyada movie dekhnay jain, aur agar movie ka ticket mehnga bhi hoo phir bhi dekhnay jain. Kuch din pehlay Geo ki animated movie ka promo dekh raha tha, which I feel wouldn't make as much as these top grossing movies since 3 bahadur hardly made 7 crore. Although Geo ki animation movie looks really polished and well made like Disney/Pixar movies but still I have my doubts, k will it barely be able to recover the budget for that movie. 1 tou kids movie hai which is already a downer for many, since people like to go in cinema's as couples or since majority of population youngsters(not kids) they wouldn't bother to see that, since they are more inclined towards action or love movies.

Like i havent seen new guys here before

No comparisons should be drawn between those two markets.. India has 6000+ screens vs Pakistan has 85 screens available for their releases. On festive holidays Bollywood normally has one big movie releasing and God forbid if there are two, everyone is talking about the clash and how it would affect the business. JPNA2 had two other biggies released (Load Wedding and Parwaz hai Junoon) to share the 85 screens.

So yeah 50 Crore is like 500 Cr under the circumstances. Pakistani movie industry is slowly attaining it's maturity thanks to India's boycott of Pakistani stars (blessing in disguise).

Really amazed at how this type of a ch___ hasn't been banned after 30k + messages. Mod's I know he is not abusing directly but he is clearly trying to provoke me to abuse him. This is pure instigation. Though I wouldn't mind abusing him and getting banned since I really do not have any sentimental value towards this account but still I would rather prefer not to go through the whole registration and account approval thing. To me that was more annoying than this ____.

Anyway's I found the ignore button and congrat's you are the 1st person that I am using it on. Good for you, you should really feel proud for it now.
