Well actually Islamist dont have to replace Pancasila in order to impose shariah law. One of our province has used Shariah Law and many of our positive law comes from shariah law. Even Pancasila itself is derived from Islam principle like Tauhid principle as its first pillar. Our constitution preamble also use Allah name that should make Islamist satisfied. Some of the constitution preamble:

"Pada masa Orde Baru terdapat beberapa undang undang yang merupakan transformasi hukum Islam, seperti UU Nomor 1 tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan, UU Nomor 7 tahun 1989 tentang Peradilan. Pada masa reformasi kehendak mengaktualisasikan hukum Islam dalam bentuk undang-undang semakin meningkat. Hal ini dijumpai antara lain lahirnya UU Nomor 41 tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf, UU Nomor 13 Tahun 2008 tentang Penyelenggaraan Ibadah Haji, UU Nomor 19 tahun 2008 tentang Surat Berharga Syariah Negara, UU Nomor 21 Tahun 2008 tentang Perbankan Syariah, dan UU Nomor 23 Tahun 2011 tentang Pengelolaan Zakat. Di Aceh misalnya, diterapkan hukum pidana Islam melalui UU Nomor 44 Tahun 1999 tentang Penyelenggaraan Keistimewaan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Aceh, yang selanjutnya diatur dalam peraturan seperti UU Nomor 18 tahun 2001 tentang Otonomi Khusus bagi Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Aceh sebagai Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Produk hukum turunannya dibuat melalui qanun, antara lain yang mengatur peradilan syarait Islam, tentang pelaksanaan syariat Islam di bidang aqidah, ibadah, dan aktifitas syiar Islam lainnya. Fenomena ini menunjukkan dengan sangat jelas bahwa hukum Islam memainkan peran sangat vital dalam pembangunan hukum nasional Indonesia. Hukum Islam tidak hanya mengisi kekosongan hukum namun sekaligus menjadi sumber nilai yang mendasari aturan hukum yang dibuat. "

I know the history, bro. And I don't make any generalization. I don't even use the word Islamist because Pancasila itself was made by Islamist. I specifically said :

"extremists who want to impose (their version of) Shariah and replace Pancasila."

By extremists I mean HTI, JI, and the likes.

In this version of theirs, the caliph has the absolute power to decide over everything, all kinds of voting right for the common people must be abolished. This alone against the 4th Sila. Moreover, they want to erase national identity which is contradict the 3rd Sila.

For years, HTI propagators have been actively spread their ill-accusation against Pancasila and the government that still defending it is out of Islam (to them). I've seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears. Even after their banning they haven't stop.

The campaign of "#GantiPresiden2019" was launched by HTI supporters not long after Jokowi banned their activity. It's more than just replacing Jokowi, they also want to replace presidential institution.

The aim of Indonesian Islamist is to impose more shariah Islam on our positive law and not to change Pancasila itself. I can say the group among Islamist who want to change Pancasila is very minority and usually the one who dont have good critical thinking and dont have political power.

Exactly because they don't have political power (as of yet) so they cling on to the one that have; Prabowo. They are among who keep pushing on for Ijtima Ulama supporting Prabowo candidacy.

I don't think they are "very" minority anymore. 10 years SBY let them grew unchecked. No reaction from SBY when HTI made open declaration in 2013 denouncing Pancasila and the intention to change the system. They manage to infiltrate schools and institutions, indoctrinated through lectures and propaganda. And today we have seen the "fruit".

Now, I don't believe in a million years that Prabowo will fight for HTI's Shariah implementation over Pancasila and I think they don't believe it either, but at least at the moment they have a common goal, which is deposing Jokowi. Some bargain must have been made behind the curtain.
