What's new

Jinnah had a dream, and we failed him

Pakistan was built for the political and economic rights of Muslims not for rights of Mullah and their long beards.

I agree with you & the thing that irritate me more is that all these mullas were strongly against Pakistan & tried to make all Pakistani provinces part of india but when Pakistan came into being they flooded here & forced their wrong ideologies.

i don't understand this. if jinnah wanted every religion to be respected then it was possible with remaining with India anyways.
there was no need of making a whole new country.
on one hand he says that he wanted a separate country for Muslims and on the other hand he says that it was for every religion!
its confusing.
yeah his dream is broken. the pakistan he dreamt of (east and west pakistan) does not exist.

:cheesy::woot:Looks like you just born.

All i need to say is growup.

. .
I don't know why so much debate in pakistan whether Jinnah wanted this or that ?

If Gandhi ji wanted something does not mean India would follow it.

We current generation has a say .. what we want is paramount interest.

Well, call Gandhi founder of India or not, fact is, once the British weakened, they wanted to retreat from the Subcontinent as soon as possible, so India was bound to be created anyway, weather a Gandhi existed or not.
Pakistan on the other hand, has a clear founder, we know it was thanks to him Pakistan was founded. The least we can do is follow his vision :coffee: And Jinnah's vision, I tell you, was much better than the visions of all other PMs and Presidents we had till now

.
he also wanted every Indian Muslim to be part of pakistan but majority of them remained with india.
and then after the creation of Bangladesh- the two nation theory had become the epic fail.

You either never read history or I don't know, your brain must be "broken".
Jinnah wanted a state for the Muslims of the Subcontinent. He wanted these units to merge and form a new nation, in once which the Muslims will rule themselves, and will not be sidelined by a religious group which greatly outnumbered us. Not to mention this religious group was greatly hostile to us aswell

Point is taken. Jinnah vision is not clear as no where mentioned about what he wanted a islamic state or secular state.

Not really. PAKSTAN which stands for Punjab, Afghania, Kashmir, Sindh and balochisTAN, was meant to be a nation for the Muslim majority of these units. Whether others joined us or not, well it didn't really matter. And Bangladesh wasn't included in this original plan anyway.
So go somewhere else to take your frustration out, or keep believing this BS if you want to.

Secular or not, doesn't matter. If by secular you mean giving rights to minorities, well that is an obligation by GOD anyway

no i'm not frustrated. i'm not the one who has to give explanations of his country's existence.

further- all India Muslim league was founded in Dhaka. so you always had a dream about Bangal. in fact Jinah wanted Calcutta too. so your theory is wrong.
moreover- you also tried for junagarh and Hyderabad to be part of pakistan. so don't give us this alphabetical theory please.

That string of alphabets used to explain Pakistan's current day territorial limitations is a mere hogwash as you just proved.

Junagadh ceded to us, we didn't ask for it. Also, Bengal came into the picture much later, just because something I founded somewhere doesn't mean that place has to be part of it. Hyderabad too, once Mountbatten said Hyderabad can't join us, we didn't say anything because they weren't mean to be part of us.

You're obviously not aware of the hue and cry raised by Mr. Jinnah over Junagadh and Hyderabad.

I suggest you do some research.

if you remain in denial then i can't argue with you.
why did you let junagarh ceded with you since it did not match with your alphabetical theory which you are ranting here? why did you let Bangal to be part of pakistan if it wasn't matching with your alphabetical theory?
truth is- that 2 nation theory is the biggest blunder. don't remain in denial about it. pakistan which jinah dreamt of does not exist from 71.

^ Hue and Cry within India. And you got your territory back, be happy. We never even asked for it

Nop, there is no crisis or problems on our end. We clearly know why this country was formed, your the only ones pressing on things the average Pakistani could care less about

You need to read out history before posting like dumb, in the real plan it was decided about 3 Muslim countries after British exit, one was Pakistan consisting(Punjab, Afghania(NWFP), Kashmir, Sindh, BalochisTAN), 2nd was Bangalistan (Assam & East Bengal) 3rd was Osmanistan (Hyderabad Deccan). The polititions from Bangladesh rejected that plan & force to make E Bengal part of Pakistan.

[/QUOTE]

Wrong, it was Junagadh & Hyderabad's rulers who decided to become part of Pakistan just like Bangladesh's rulers. india's state sponsered terrorism & naked aggression end up in occupying those areas.

if you remain in denial then i can't argue with you.
