Jinnah had a dream, and we failed him

There is lot of flaws in this map. It also includes so many Hindu majority areas. when I and my friend watched this map for the first time, first question to come in our mind was,"Can implementing such thing possible." And it was proved during partition not possible.

if "partition" was done along these lines though there would have been less bloodshed and massacres cause people wouldn't have to leave their homes for the most part

Pakistan, Bangalistan & Osmanistan were possibilities but yes those small dependencies may have gone to india.

Minirities most definetly need rights, but what do you expect when even the majority doesn't have the rights they deserve?

...Whereupon the emperor his father published an edict, commanding all his subjects, upon great penalties, to break the smaller end of their eggs. The people so highly resented this law, that our histories tell us, there have been six rebellions raised on that account; wherein one emperor lost his life, and another his crown.

I think the Western experience is that by fighting for the rights of a minority the majority asserts its own rights. For otherwise any group can be labelled something or the other and reduced to "minority" status and if their rights aren't asserted such differences can be waved as justification for civil strife - as the intrepid Gulliver witnessed during his sojourn in Lilliput.

Still, how can anyone imagine about enclave as country within other country and think of being free.

Ever heard of Lesotho, Swaziland or Buntustans

1) Stop ranting again & again same thing, i told you that Bengal was supposed to be different country & not part of Pakistan but your head can't accept it.

2) Muslims living peacefully in india?:cheesy::woot: Every one knows how peacefully they living, go few pages back & check videos that i've posted.

Atleast i know Muslims of my native Bihar are living much more peacefully in Bihar than their counterpart in Bangladesh who saw only cheating and betrayal from Pakistani masses.

 as per the map there could have been 10 more muslim state but did that happened ? NO ...

ya.. they are living peacefully and guess what they don't even asking asylum in neighboring countries .

Millions of Muslims came to Pakistan from those parts, just like my grand parents. & that was not 10 muslim states but 3 Muslim states. The Muslims in other areas were welcomed in any three of those as said by Sir Jinnah (RA).

i respect the fact of Pakistan being in existence. the 2 nation theory is failed immediately after the creation of Bangladesh. Islam or being a Muslim could not keep the nation. its a failed thing.

Bangladesh was also part of British India. It didn't merge with India so 2 nation theory still stands.

And india has more ethnic groups than Pakistan has. Its not like Pakistan has all of the Muslim world. Pakistan is a small country compared to Iran and Saudi Arabia but we are happy we are not part of hindu majority india that has a billion hindus.

Ever haeard of Lesotho, Swaziland or other Buntustans

Bantustan is a part of South Africa and dissolved after end of Apartheid in 1994.
Swaziland is surrounded by 2 countries.
And lesotho:- It is more like Vassal state of South Africa, their national currency is South African Rand.

So, it was really impossible to create such countries.

if "partition" was done along these lines though there would have been less bloodshed and massacres cause people wouldn't have to leave their homes for the most part

Forget bloodshed but can such enclaves able to run themselves.

You are wrong again cuz Hindus in Pakistan were mostly in East Pakistan, as soon as Bangladesh was created Hindus population went down cuz they than become Bangladeshis.
i was just talkin about Pakistan and not Bangladesh. the population of Hindus have decreased in Pakistan while it is increased for Muslims in India. Muslim of India have also proved to be more successful than anyone in Pakistan.
Keep ranting like a fat head, Bengal was not in Pakistan's plan so it makes no effect if it stays or goes. They choose Pakistan themselves & they left Pakistan themselves. Originally there were 3 countries Pakistan, Bangalistan & Osmanistan according to plan.

the first thing you need to know while talking to me is- my intention is not to hurt you.
there was no 3rd nation involved. it was just 2 nations. the moment it became the 3rd one- failed the theory of Pakistan.

Lol, look how much bigger Pakistan was meant to be. They got sooo much more land than they were originally meant to get and yet they showed their greedy side, and tried to get Kashmir too.

Because it was impossible to create such nations that's why you guys got smaller one and still you guys have lesser population density than India.

not really.
Muslims should have got the land as per their percentage. Pakistan got more than it actually deserved.

many ppl are not aware of real ideology of jinnah coz on one side he talked abt secularism, protection & equal opportunity to minorities, no relation b/w religion & state, he said that Muslims can live with minorities in pakistan without any problem but on other side he demanded separate nation for muslims because he believed muslims can't live with non-muslims. seriously there is lot of confusion coz his two views do not match.
