Talmud is the Jewish equivalent of hadith and sunnah. Both were written by man and hence contradictory and corrupted.

If you read the sahih hadith books you'll find contradictions and corruptions filled in them too.

Just because you read it out of context at your ease. Secondly don't compare Hadith to talmud, no matter what Hadith does not suggests and orders what talmud does. this man is nuts to connect the talmud which is the holy book of jews which they consider to be word of god to sahih hadits which is actually the word of the prophet!!

I was under the impression that religious topics are not allowed on this forum, but I guess only the counter-views to Islam is not allowed on this forum.

But a few things are worth mentioning in this thread. All religions, through their texts or messengers, have profound impact upon how its followers understand the world we live. It is vital for everyone to understand that one "loose screw" in our box of knowledge of the world or the incompleteness of the knowledge is terrifyingly dangerous, although, we do not realize this. All the problems in this world are there solely because we do not understand the world we live in, we do not know our purpose and we do not realize our own self.

It is the duty of every person to find out whether the path of life he is treading completes his vision of life, presents him the actual purpose and eventually takes him to self-realization or not.

If this world is to survive properly, then the opinion about the "understanding of the world" of all individuals must converge. If there are immense differences in the basic opinions about life, then that is enough indication that the situation is enormously critical. If the fundamentals of life are not clear and complete, then it gives rise to a society where the difference between right and wrong keeps on blurring, and eventually becomes intermixed.

So it is not necessary, that the traditions, the knowledge and even the religion we receive in convention are proper in every sense. We need to find out if that is the case or not.

Islam presents a very naive concept of the world, and I must say that the world is not that simple.
