Will JF-17B going to be used as LIFT and Fighter Conversion role too? Or will it just be used as JF-17 conversion and EW jet? I guess PAF might be interested in acquiring Italian Jets for the Jet Training role and this is the best option.

Yes. It will complement training for JF-17s and will also be used in the FCU/OCU role. The South Korean T-50A is a much better option for the jet training role.

Sources & Reports suggest that JF17B-EW (or JF17E) variant shall be inducted to ensure the policy of "having capabilities to render any Missile Defence system useless"

any info on these new EW pods as shown connected on JFBs ..

Twin seater is needed for electronic counter measures aircraft---.

Works perfect for working thru data link and launching weapons of other aircrafts at a designated target---.

Which mean this twin seater can possibly be an aesa equipped aircraft---which can turn on its radar and the support aircraft with weapons maybe with conventional radar---keep their radars shut---the lead aircraft gets a lock on target and may launch the designated weapons.

This way you can change the angle of strike at the same target---the aircraft maybe some what dispersed / wide spread---.

Suddenly the job of of a wizzo becomes the most important job---.

The two seater would be a major game player---.

Just remember how long ago did I write here on this forum how important the 2 seater would be---. It would more important than most of your wildest imaginations---.

Kinda like mini-AWACS always by your side -- also is true AESA radars very good to prevent enemy locking onto your air craft and the radar is capable of doing EW on a limited basis as well.
