Nato standard probe has some changes including a band or clip which breaks off in case there too much wind / air pressure without impacting the bucket of tanker

Not sure about Soviet /Chinese but Chinese probe and bucket were copy of UK [emoji636] so the design might follow Nato std

The breakpoint is designed not to break with the high wind but if the peaceful disengagement fails for whatever reason, to ensure the safety of both planes, the nozzle itself breaks in a safe manner.
