So, someone could have look at this image, it was taken on 5th Oct, 2004 near my residence in Chengdu.

The JF-17 most certainly raises envious eyebrows across the border and across the continent! Simply Brilliant Aircraft for the bucks spent

daredevil,

You dont represent the Indian population or Indian Air Force.. or Indian Army.

High officials representing the Indian Air Force.. say they are worried.

Of course there is a difference.. you dont have to fight against them. They will have to. :)

OMG, so many replies. Now, why IAF should be worried by JF-17.

Firstly, JF-17 is not inducted into PAF.

Secondly, even if it were inducted, don't you think IAF doesn't have a matching A/C or even superior, in this case, Su-30MKI which has been in force for a while.

Thirdly, you are forgetting numerical superiority of IAF.

So, we should talk about this only when JF-17 is inducted into PAF with all its paraphernalia (Avionics, radars, missiles etc) in its final form. Until then my friends, should IAF be worried?.

Every country will do its best to deny the technology in one or the other way to its foes, its natural (Will you let us have J-10s:azn:).

In the worst case scenario, IAF can defend its country (if not offend its neighbors), don't you think so?.
