Anyway... They still have the left side open for trackpod. So not entirely full loaded. Those dumb bombs are not somethign for these days. Small diameter guided bombs would change the capacity totally...

when all hardpoints are occupied with payload its called "fullyloaded" which this picture implies. keeping in mind that the chinese version will be more of a ground attack version so close air support will be one of its priorities. My guess is that within a year we are again expecting to see a massive operation by the security forces and dumb bombs can play a vital role in that event. i am also sure that they will also carry some sort of targeting pods.

FulcrumD, these are 1100 liter tanks. on a fully loaded high low high mission JF17 on dry thrust can go and come back till 1352 kms using only his internal fuel of 5130lbs. Whereas with three 1100 liters which can add another 5874lbs of fuel to JF17, hence increasing it range to 3000kms without air to air refueling... But if you only use air to air refuelers and fuly load JF17s then ofcourse u can go around pretty much anywhere if you have air refulers on way to certain destinations...


I can see JF 17s fully loaded going doing CAP way off in arabean seas to protect Pakistani sea lines during combat with its enemies....

therefore, in future there wont be any naval blocade of pakistan..
