BBC News - Fire attack on West Bank mosque - settlers suspected

Jewish settlers are suspected of being behind an attack on a mosque in the north of the occupied West Bank. Attackers set fire to a library and prayer mats, and sprayed graffiti in Hebrew at the scene.

Palestinian residents of the village of Yasuf clashed briefly with Israeli soldiers investigating the attack.

Attacks on Palestinians by settlers are increasing. A number of incidents have been captured on video and received wide publicity.

Israeli human rights groups have accused the police and army of running inadequate investigations into such incidents.

One group reported that nine out of 10 investigations into alleged attacks on Palestinians by settlers end without anyone being charged. Some hard-line settlers advocate a "price tag" policy under which they attack Palestinians in retaliation for any Israeli government measure they see as threatening Jewish settlements.

Well - suicide bombings are Haraam as the Qur'an specifically forbids suicide.

If a guy blows himself up in a public area then complaints are justified to say the least!

Israeli extremists have attacked a mosque in the occupied West Bank, vandalizing the property and desecrating the holy book of Islam, the Qur'an.

Suspected hardline Israeli settlers stormed the holy site in the northern West Bank village of Yasuf at night, set fire to the mosque's library and sprayed hate messages on the building.

Israeli security authorities said they had failed to arrest the attackers, adding that a probe had been launched into the incident.

Following the overnight attack, Palestinians in the locality rallied in protest at the attack and clashed with Israeli forces, who fired tear gas to disperse the angry protesters.

The incident is the latest in a series of anti-Muslim violence, which has also seen the eviction of Palestinians by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.

In October, Israeli vandals attacked the Al-Aqsa Mosque — the Muslim world's third-holiest site — in Jerusalem Al-Quds, which caused public outrage in the Muslim world and prompted condemnations from the international community.

Anyway, I have reason to believe that the Regime occupying Jerusalem wants to appear to be doing something about the extra-extra extreme Jews however are in fact fully supporting them by alternate means.

For example, eviction of Palestinian families from their homes for the Jew takeover.

I understand where you are coming from.

In the media, if a Muslim commits a crime his faith is ALWAYS mentioned. But if a Jew or Christian were to commit the same crime, there would be no mention of his / her faith.

I have seen this happen on numerous occasions.
