Japanese space probe goes into orbit around Venus

Who said the Chinese are the first in everything? Perhaps in history , ancient history to be specific, they were a prolific and prominent racial power in East Asia, in context to civilization genesis. However, in regards to modern industrial paradigm, they are a new and latecomer force. The first Asian nation , civilization to industrialize --- during the Age of Industrialization --- was the Japanese Empire. It was not China.

As a ultra-developed and modern society, prominent economic power that is Japan --- it is no surprise to see Her contribution to science, industry and economics. I suppose the galactic exploration paradigm is but an attribute to Japan's expansive contribution in modern development.

Regards.
For a country who claimed to be the MOST advance in the universe didn't have the ability to land a rover on the planet nor put a man in space by itself to this day. LOL

Most Chinese members don't even consider Japan as a serious contender.

Just let those island people living in their own world, why bother with them?

Exactly. Our eyes is matching the US accomplishment. That's why we focus on the moon lander, then manned mission lander. Then Mars lander and then we caught up with the US to see who will put a man in Mars first. Of course, the US have a big head start and we are catching up to their accomplishment? Japan, oh please! LOL

Well, the US is the US, while Japan is Japan, they should be not be confused with each other.

Just like many Internet trolls under the Japanese payroll always spew the propaganda that the US-Japan navy is super strong, China is no match, blahblahblah.

But in the reality is that Japan's navy is only 1/100 of the US navy, and why they always love to rank themselves with the US?

The USN is totally irrelevant with Japan. And the JMSDF is totally neglectable to China, it makes no difference on the decisive outcome.

Well the most advance country of the universe takes the US accomplishment as their own as if they are the 53rd state. If the US can bring them up, they can also bring them down. That is why you see their fear of trying to disobey the US order. As a matter of fact, the US is the ultimate decision maker of their foreign policy so they have to follow order or else risk being abandon. That is the price to pay as a luxurious lapdog. They get to dress in high fashion clothes but still they are just a disguise puppy.

Of course Japan is ultra developed and will continue to contribute to human collective development. I would argue that in contrast to some members in PDF --- the Chinese peers are in support of Japan's contribution in this space exploration paradigm. In fact the extensive nature of Japanese-Chinese academic collaboration is highly noted. One or two Chinese members in PDF who show a discernible disregard for Japan and Japan's contribution --- does not change the fact that the two civilizations are cooperative powers in most national and international strategic variables.

In most and every category, yes. But let us not belittle the Indian yearning to expand and succeed. That human spirit is to be congratulated, nourished and supported. India is a friend of Japan; and are both spiritual , political, and historical peers. Long shall this ancient relationship endure.

That was sarcastic dude. lol

They are probably ahead in every category.

India has one of the most ambitious space programs in Asia(Or in the entire world) and it has a lot of potential in the future.

Japan was the first Asian country to industrialize and the first Asian country to become a developed country.
Japan had one of the worlds advanced aeorospace industries which stagnated after WW2 but Japan quickly caught up civilian areas but not much on the military areas but now even those barriers are disappearing

I think the main problem facing Japan are budget constraints

The butthurt is strong among the Chinese in this thread. It's pathetic...

Ha , just only two visibly obstinate folks who keep on posting anti-Japanese rants in this thread. Pay no heed of them, focus on the beauty of progress, my American friend. :)

That was sarcastic dude. lol

Forgive me. :smokin:

500kg was the dry mass. In other words, useless metal chunk. LOL

As for the Yinghuo-1, it is fail on Russian rocket. It had nothing to do with us. Since that failure, we have decided to do everything ourselves and not rely on other rocket for our space exploration.

Couple of things, firstly the failed Chinese mars probe Yinghou-1 weighed a total of 115kg, the scientific payload onboard the failed satellite was a puny 11Kg.

Secondly, the Indian Mars probe weighs a total of 500Kg with a scientific payload of 15Kg. The Chinese one piggybacked on the Russian satellite, therefore didn't require fuel onboard unlike the Indian Mars satellite which carried its own fuel and also has a medium gain antenna on board, making it heavier of the two.

But, China can easily send Bigger and more Advanced Mars Probe, with their own Technology.
Right know, they already have Heavy lift Launch System Rocket (Long March 5). :D
That Rocket is much much Bigger than Rocket that India have, PSLV.

Long March 5 Heavy lift Rocket that China have today, can take 25,000 Kg Payload to LEO. In other side, Indian PSLV Rocket just can take 3,250 Kg Payload to LEO, much smaller.

As the Chinese on this forum will tell you, that they don't believe in what they can do in the future, rather what they have achieved already. And a successful mission mars is not one of them. So show me those rockets, once China can successfully send a mission to the Mars.

India too is working on GSLV series of rockets, which can carry heavier payload to LEO and GTO.

That's nice to see India is working a Bigger Rocket too, GSLV is nice Rocket ! I am also have Positive view to India Space Development. and Hope in the Future Indonesia can match China and India in this "Space Race" too :D

After this Long March 5 Rocket, China is also working to Long March 9 Rocket.
Longa March 9 Rocket is a Monster, he can take 130,000 Kg Payload to LEO and 50,000 Kg Payload to Lunar Transfer Orbit. 8-)
