well, many desi people ( from indian subcontinent - ind, pak, bd, afg primarily ) do lack regard for the personal space of others but the beard-cutting vietnamese seems a strange story.

Lack of personal space is quite a pan-asian thing. Don't make it like only Desis do it and that its strange when others indulge in it.

In fact many south americans are also notorious for their disregard of personal space compared to global norms.
