Nope, F2's engine is made by general electric, which is a American company.

Wikipedia actually has a pretty good read:
General Electric (engine), Kawasaki, Honeywell, Raytheon, NEC, Hazeltine, and Kokusai Electric are among the other larger participants to varying degrees. Lockheed Martin supplies the aft fuselage, leading-edge slats, stores management system, a large portion of wing boxes (as part of two-way technology transfer agreements), and other components. Kawasaki builds the midsection of the fuselage, as well as the doors to the main wheel and the engine, while forward fuselage and wings are built by Mitsubishi. Avionics are supplied by Lockheed Martin, and the digital fly-by-wire system has been jointly developed by Japan Aviation Electric and Honeywell (formerly Allied Signal). Contractors for communication systems and IFF interrogators include Raytheon, NEC, Hazeltine, and Kokusai Electric. Final assembly is done in Japan, by MHI at its Komaki-South facility in Nagoya.

Pretty much all the important bits are built by Americans. Not to mention the whole F-2 design is based on F-16 in the first place.

Why are you under the impression that Japan could build state of the art jet fighter engines? That's one of the crown jewels of modern industry. Very few countries could do it. Heck, if EU is counted as one nation, then the number of entities that could do it can be counted in one hand and with a finger to spare.

I clearly said & i quote 'they also build some parts for F-2'
where did i said they build the Engine for them & they are not gonna have a problem to develop a engine with their massive Industrial Might

In his wonderful world, all the world (especially Japan, India, USA) bow before and cower at the full might of Greater China -- in Her resplendent Glory...which lights all the world.

We are all backwards, bereft of technological expertise , as compared to the Lord of Lords, Innovator of Innovations...

For the sake of your request, I did and unless GE and Lockheed Martin are Japan companies, then I fail to see the part that needs to be re-read. BTW, where is the Japanese indigenous engine as quoted by you?

Japan's China obsession will always end up to expose themselves as a big laughing stock in the world.

Just look at the Moon probe racing back in 2007, now China has Chang'e 4/5 as the next step, whereas their SELENE project simply got stalled and forgotten by people.

I don't know what he is talking about,we are talking about a nation here which has to just turn some screws in order to have ICBMs,Nuclear Weapons.Jet Engines are a pretty tough nut to crack but we are talking about Japan here which has a massive Industrial Might.

Second statement-means they already have AESA(on F 2) and engines ( IHI XF5,IHI F7) in service

So basically, it comes back to what started this argument, that F2 is a Japanese assembled aircraft with most of the important parts being supplied directly by American companies. And I got it, what you meant was Japan has "some indigenous engine" just not ones for their jet fighters.

Well, so basically, it comes back to what started this argument, that F2 is a Japanese assembled aircraft with most of the important parts being supplied directly by American companies.

So fuselage sections,wings are unimportant ?AESA radars ?
