Japanese Government pushes industrial Heritage site bid / Aims to counter Chinese, ROK objections

We must go ahead despite neighborly opposition. We cannot expect to bend over backwards all the time the moment our Chinese and Korean friends start protesting.

And why should we not be proud of our industrial revolution ? As Asia's first industrial power? We have every right. The Americans do it, the Germans, the British. So Japan has every right.

Japanese is really a kind of headache. ( Whatever you dislike my post, read it carefully. )This is another Japanese trick.

We don't oppose Japanese cherish the memory of glorious times, but don't refer to Nazi related history.
We don't oppose Japanese worship the shrine, but remove those war criminals out.
We don't protest Japanese celebrate the industrial revolution, don't mention to the facility of Korean forced labor.

Japanese, you should know, you guys don't have any right. The more you challenge us, the more suppression you will meet from China. I don't concern what American, Germans or British's action in this, they have respective pressures from their own region. But Japan is so closed to Asia, and more than half of Japanese consider themselves as victims of WWII. This mood of fake tragedy will bring Japan and East Asia another disaster.

Ahahaha. ...Asia still hasn't gotten over their wwii past. Japan should thread more carefully though. Pressing things too far will only bring some. Korea and China even closer (though the Koreans aren't a fan of the Chinese, but having been there myself, I would say with all certainty that they would rather have China by their side than Japan anyday) . So Japan should be more careful. .

Reading at the posts, just curious(could be off topic !), does nations in Asia celebrate victory over Japan in ww2 ?

No they don't. Only China does, since it was the only independent major country in Asia back then that fought Japan (I should precise that it was KMT China though) . All other countries in Asia don't really care at all or celebrate such a victory, , since they see it as a foreign war by big powers which had nothing much to do with them apart from the fact that it was also fought on their soil. Lol

No. Again you've missed the mark. The UNESCO designations involve 23 sites in 8 prefectures that are in Kyushu, in the Japanese Archipelago.

Your post has not correlation to this subject matter, tho an attempt to inject unrelated political history of WW2 to this topic.

Sad , really. Sad that you prefer to continue with such banter.

Chinese members should cheer the Japanese government for being provocative. How else are you going to take revenge on the Japanese?
If you want to establish a new world order, war is The best way. I'm with Abe on this one.

see, Japanese mouths say peace, but everything they do is to counter its neighbors. I never believe in what their mouths or Japanese propaganda say but I see clearly the their real mind behind

What they did is just harmful to the cooperation between countries including Japan.
Obviously, Japan Gov is competent at anything except economy, diplomacy etc, it is very very unnecessary for japan to provoke others on such issues of no importance, they lose the way far. Unfortunately he common Japanese lives must be influenced by the so negligible things. I doubt the average IQ of Abe's cabinet is lower than the average IQ of the most common Japanese.:coffee:

I understand that there are a lot of well justified anti japanese sentiment with chinese members regarding history, but the industrial sites has nothing to do with japanese colonialization of korea or war crimes comitted against china.

Good luck to japan. I'll stay out of the debate and just let un officials decide.

Precisely said, Isaac. These industrial sites are inside sacred Japanese soil, and not in Korea , China, Taiwan or any other territories abroad. There is no need for such emotional sensationalism to take place. This is clearly a Japanese cultural heritage internal affairs matter.

Dai Nippon!
