Yes the only argument you people keep using is the factory workers. Well i don't know how many factory workers there are working for Japanese car makers but if German car makers are seeing huge rise of profits they can start opening more factories in China. It can also stimulate domestic factories too and create more jobs. China can also focus on other industries. So before you claim Tens of Thousands factory workers would be out of jobs, you should publish from a reliable source and news articles that China is collapsing because of high unemployment rate. Frankly Hyundai alone can and willing to pickup the Japanese car manufacturing facilities if China provides the financing. Both the American and European car makers also need additional factories to cover the demise of the Japanese companies. So it's a none issue here.

ironically, china should not let any korean companies to grow in china also. when they grow, they dispute with china more and more! china should rather support companies from US, Europe zones or any as long as no border dispute with china to grow. that is the real way to peace.

Plenty options indeed, with the Japanese competitors gone Korean and EU car maker will have more sales and that means more factories will be needed to increase production. China has plenty of cash to invest in these factories so money isn't a problem. Toyota, Nissan and Honda's profits will keep falling as a result of this dispute.
