Correct. If i may add, in respect to the Greater South Asian Dialectic Paradigm, Japan maintains and upholds a pro-developmentalist, pro-regionalist, pro-cooperative interoperability mechanism with all countries in South Asia. There is constant rapport and good will operations between Japan and Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. As many of you may know there are over a thousand Japanese businesses in India, over a thousand in Bangladesh, hundreds operating in Pakistan, Nepal and a growing number in Bhutan. Japan has a massive project with Bangladesh, which is a muslim dominant nation, as well as with India, a Hindu dominant nation. We have the same with Sri Lanka , which is a Buddhist dominant nation. There is also a force in the Japanese keidenren who want to invest more in Pakistan , and as soon as the threat of regional separatism is decreased in Pakistan, there is no reason why Japanese investments cannot increase in tandem. As we speak, as Pakistan slowly stabilizes her borders through her anti-separatist campaigns, the more international image of stability of Pakistan is disseminated.
Pakistan has a rich potential here and will be the next cornerstone for Japanese designs in South Asia. Like India, Pakistan is blessed with
- Natural resources, hydro-carbons, metals
- Hydropower potential
- Large population, young population
- A rich coastline
- And access to the greater Central Asian region
Looking forward to blooming relations between our ancient friends and partners, Pakistan and the Pakistani People !
