The slave comment is a storm in a teacup, the more out there thing is the context of their discussion, why were they even discussing that bizarre hypothetical of Japan becoming a US State?

Why are people offended? It's an apt observation from a highly intelligent and honest Japanese politician.

Slaves in the White House.

Slaves at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Slaves running amok on American streets.

America's days are numbered. The people and culture that won WWII are long gone.
