Japan prepares to commission Izumo helicopter destroyer

I wouldn't say Japanese technology is better than Chinese technology. AESA is deployed in most Chinese systems like J-10B, KJ-2000, 052D.
You suffer from verbal diarrhea. I requote your original statement:
" 052D and 055 have AESA. Japanese warships do not have AESA"
Obviously you have no clue.

That posts reflects badly on you sir, as it shows you take that broken record seriously....
My.... THANKS YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT. I'm sorry I've defended the JSMDF in this respect. Next time it's your job. G"day..

sir i red somewhere when turkey was negotiating for juan carlos class, they were offered for 500 million euros, around $650 mil, whereas this izumo cost a billion, why is there such a difference? although their size is almost same

Why companies have been investing in Chine? to make their production line cheaper. the same answer to this question. For example, people who get paid 1000 lira in Turkey is 300$ when you convert it. but, as Turkey produce many things, its not a bad salary(just example)

so just because of labor arbitrage, the ship in turkey would be cheaper

Turkey will also use its Radars. fire control system(GENESIS), weapon, SAM,... most of them beside ENgine. just to give you an example, with Turkish Milgem class Corvette, it cost to Turkey around 250 million$, normally you can purchase the same type corvette for 500$

500 mil for corvette? a large sized frigate can come for that price, i think milgem is overpriced, as type-056, or braunschweig class which are less in tonnage but have more or less same firepower will be under 200 mil and incheon class a frigate has also been for 232 mil for ROKN

difference in roles, as juan carlos is geared towards amphibious assualt where as izumo class has more of a power projection or a mini carrier role.

or is it due to aesa and CIWS in izumo?

Izumo is equipped for a combat role as part of an independent surface action group. It is equipped as a destroyer in many ways. Juan Carlos is not intended for a combat role but for an assault role: she has much more limited self-defence and combat capability and is much more dependent on her escorts. Also, she is unlikely to be employed in a primary role in a group, unless fully loaded up with STOVL aircraft (due e.g. to her precious cargo: assault troops and their equipment).
