What's new

Japan Might Build 'Super' Destroyers. Why? Think North Korea and China.

So will the U.S.
You will start a development for second generation hypersonic cruise missiles when China and Russia will starts to induct second generation hypersonic cruise missiles in their military, you're late in to develop hypersonic cruise missiles tech as compare to Russia and China

Better late then never.

. .
then you always remain behind them in hypersonic cruise missile development
(Shrugs), People say the same thing when the Soviet Union launched their rocket and put a satellite in space while we didn't. Look where that got us to. And considering the Russian response to our development on hypersonic missiles and IRBMs. They must have realize they have no defense against ours. And they are watching our weapons development. To the point they had to respond with this.

The Russian military has warned that any ballistic missile headed toward the country will be considered nuclear-armed, and one that warrants nuclear retaliation. The warning comes after reports the U.S. is working to develop long range missiles capable of striking Russia. The U.S. has not developed these weapons in a vacuum, however, and there’s an argument to be made that Russia has only itself to blame.

Senior officers in the Russian military General Staff told Krasnaya Zvezda (Red Star) there's no way to determine if an incoming ballistic missile is fitted with a nuclear or conventional warhead. As a result, the Russian military would be obliged to prepare for the worst-case scenario.

“Any attacking missile will be perceived as carrying a nuclear warhead. The information about the missile launch will be automatically relayed to the Russian military-political leadership, which will determine the scope of retaliatory action by nuclear forces depending on the evolving situation.”[/QUOTE]
This essentially means the Russian military is openly warning that the launch of any ballistic missile, nuclear or not, will start a nuclear war.

Russia's warning has been spurred by new American weapons such as an intermediate range ballistic missile (IRBM) and a conventional Prompt Global Strike hypersonic weapon system. The new policy will make it difficult—if not impossible—to use these new weapons against Russian territory. Under the new policy, an American missile with a conventional warhead could very well escalate a conflict to all-out thermonuclear war.

What is you trying to prove?? sir i can't understand, if you assuming that only you have defense against hypersonic cruise missiles and they haven't than you're wrong

It means doesn't matter if they build 2nd or 3rd gen hypersonic missiles, there's nothing they can do against U.S. hypersonic missiles because there is no defense against it. Hence why I mentioned 10 years from now, the window will be closed and China cannot do anything about it. Same for the Russians.

And that's is also true for USA too you have no defense against Russian and Chinese hypersonic cruise missiles

Yes so either Russia and China do something about this, or its pretty much a stalemate and China cannot invade Taiwan.

When raining down hundreds of hypersonic cruise missiles in SCS on your USN ships your game will be over too

Yeah so for your ships as well, so its game over for both sides and China still doesn't get Taiwan.

And this is where the U.S. wants to reach to. A stalemate. China doesn't want a WW3. They just want Taiwan, but can't do that if the new missiles can counter China. China will lose that advantage. And they won't resort to nukes once their navy is sunk.

Dodge the question? I just said don't need to be an admiral, in other words I'm not military. And you don't have to be in the military to know what going on right now. Even some military experts never served in the military and they are considered experts in military journals and vlogs and news right?
You don't need to be in the military to know about military. WTF man???
