Japan and Vietnam ban Chinese software

Amidst fears of spying, Japan has banned with immediate effect the use of Chinese software intended for inputting text in Japanese Government organizations.

The freeware programme “Baidu” is currently used on the Japanese territory by about two million users. Acording to the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri, the programme transmits all the input text to foreign servers.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam Ministry of Education has banned the use of the Chinese software Earth Explorer in Geography classes. In this programme, the islands of Sparty (Nanshan) and Paracel, which are disputed by Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Philippines and Brunei, are shown as Chinese territories.

if you are a tourist, pls be advised not to bring any maps with the fcking 9 dash into VN, because it is considered as a crime and will be punished by law. the same goes to Chinese passports containing the funny dash. their passports will be stamped invalid (see pic).

those Chinese tourists can throw their invalidated passports into the next trash bin.
