In my view it is a fight between 2 media giants for supremacy.

I admit that Geo Group TV is full of “Taliban sympathiser” media men such as Ansar Abbasi & Hamid Mir and used have bigots like Hamid Gul on TV ever so often.

Revelations about Lal Masjid also appear to be true. I have personally heard Hamid Mir in his interview with Musharraf saying “Gov’t can’t establish her writ in Islamabad?” and later Hamid Mir was the biggest critic of Lal Masjid operation. In other words, Capital Talk program was guilty of hypocrisy and hitting below the belt.

Notwithstanding the above I am against “Trial by Media”. Being in cohorts with the enemy is a very serious crime and proper way would be for ARY group to go to the courts.

But that wouldn’t gain ARY Group increase in rating.
