Wait till July, 3 choppers painted with Pakistan flags underway testing.

Can someone confirm....I heard that Zulus are RAM coated with suppressed heat signatures and four blades with quite less sound.
@Bilal Khan (Quwa) @fatman17
pai jaan hum 1947 se wait hi ker rahy hain . RAM qaouted zulus? bhai saady waly mil jay bari baat hogi

if (and a huge ifffff) that happen it means we will be replacing our entire fleet and then having some helis . currently i think we operate some 43 helis(it was 46 but we lost 3 in crashes ) going by your figure we will have 24 ah1z and 30 t129 total=54
do you think we can muster up one more billion just for helis while our airforce and air defence department need it more?
The point is the battle areana changes , it's now more about the internal war rather than keeping our eastern neighbors sleepless .. we have them on the run already on LoC ..

24 ahz1 will make a decent punch in any way theater , pitched against IA armored columns .. and T-129 been the low weight compared to ahz1 will tackle the western theater and war against the Taliban and rising isis ..

Sorry now again the battle space has change and as we have cleared our areas the internal use of Helicopters are coming to end again war will shit to eastern border. But for western border we can thing of some sort of thing like Z-9 or this Chinese one

The MI-35 will be bought in very small numbers and form part of anti-narcotics and anti-terrorist operation.
There is no use of such choppers in ANF,they do have couple of Mi-17's in Bln,but rest in whole of country they have heavy duty 4x4 vehicals to do the job.
With the AH-1 there is commonality with the AH-1Z, so there is no issue there.
As i know sir, they do share same flying characteristics but both have different Power Plants, weight,Transmission, rotor assemblies
and Defined Roles.

Ah-1 is light while Ah-1z is heavier and compareable to Ah-64.

Sir which commonalities are there between AH1 and Ah1Z. Further many think that Mi35s are much better for transporting forces in hot conflict zones than ordinary transport helicopters as they can also provide sufficient fire support.

Mi 35 can paly dual role of Air cavalry and transport. Meanwhile not suitable to be used particularly as gunship/ anti armor role. It is nmuch suitable for SSG and Marines in Ran of Kutch area.

The AH1 is one the ancestors of the Zulu bro.
As for the MI-35 it's fine against insurgents but not the IA. I agree with the whole small troop transport.

I saw articles on this forum regrading such a role, I guess it won't happen then.

Yes you're right i.e. the four-bladed composite rotor system, updated drivetrain, redesigned stub wings with tip weapons stations etc.

its not over yet .. as long as Afghanistan is still hot , Pakistan will feel the heat .. you cant Pitched T-129's against the Apache E's ... they are simply not in same league

i don't Think AH1Z will be in numbers like that but I can however see T129 & Z-10 working together. Z-10 especially being in far greater number with T-129 in reserve and for defined roles.

The older cobra can be rebuilt if I know one thing after the repair of the AWAC's and The P3 Orion not forgetting the Mirage fleet. The old cobras will not be retired.

It's not just about ToT. T129-P/P129 ( and maybe Atak-2 in future) project is provide integration work between Turkey and Pakistan aviation for needed to be done in the future projects, like 5th gen fighter. The T129 is a very important start to see both countries engineering capacity and the installed industry infrastructure and complete our shortcomings.

The MI-35 will be bought in very small numbers and form part of anti-narcotics and anti-terrorist operation. It will not be a burden.
With the AH-1 there is commonality with the AH-1Z, so there is no issue there. With the AH-1 being retired that will also relieve a great deal of logistical strain.
The Atak phase will have considerable help from TAI to ease it into service.
There is room for the Z-10.
So in actual fact it will only be three platforms.
As I said before it depends on what the deal is.

I'm hoping the army air corps think of the fleet as a sort of air artillery, which will pound enemy armour, whilst ground forces engage.

Attack helicopters are very important part in countering any future cold start based Indian misadventure as they can rain hell with deadly accuracy on enemy moving troops and can be deployed very rapidly, they might be first ones to face enemy ground forces.
