WS-15 has just recently finished its ground testing, and 117S is inferior to our WS-10BIII/WS-10G, therefore we don't really need it.

Prototype 01 is the flight demonstrator, which is the one we've seen all the pics. 02 is the ground static testing model. 2003 will feature full avionics suite and radar later this year according to huzhigeng (works for CAC).

PL-12C (~80km) will be the weapon for medium range A2A engagement, with similar capability compared to AIM-120D. PL-10 (~15km) will be short rage A2A, roughly in the same class as AIM-9X. PL-21 is a long range (>150km) weapon in development designed to engage AWACS, bombers etc.

Like I said above, J-11B has been flying with WS-10A since 2009. Don't assume everyone else is equally as incompetent as HAL or DRDO when it comes to developing an engine.
