Rafaels are coming next year... While our project azm will take another 8 to 10 years... U cant compete Rafaels with JF-17sI don't understand why we would need J-10 variants when we should be going for J-31 to counter IAF Rafael which IAF will have starting later this year.

Actually, China is not keen to sell J-10C.
They wanted to keep the spec of J-10 a secret. Only J-10 are send to very close allies for exercise.
Rafale's are supposed to start coming from this year. And where in the world did I mention JF-17??? I very consciously wrote that we should look towards J-31 (Chines equivalent to F-35).
US was also reluctant to sell F 16 in 1980's thats why i love diplomacy finding the middle ground agreeable to both parties let see when we decide it than will cross that bridge
in 83 @nahtanbobUSA sold F-16s as early as 1979
Due to the canards?Of course, J10 Design is a big secret. Nobody knows about old Lavi project anymore.
I believe some of the original partners Norway, Belgium received f-16s in 1979in 83 @nahtanbob
Do u think j-31 is matured platform that we can induct those with in a year ? If today we start thinking about j31s still it requires half decacde to see thim in PAF colorsRafale's are supposed to start coming from this year. And where in the world did I mention JF-17???
