Hi,
The post is here on the board somewhere---but I will write again---.
The instant death from nuc strike would be for the lucky ones---. Those left behind will face death in a 1000 different miserable ways and how they would wish that the nuc strike took them out.
The first strike on a large city india would off course have an immediate devastating effect---but what would follow would make the brave man's legs jello.
After the instant shock wears off---those survivors would look towards the area of destruction---some would want to move away the farthest---some would want to drive or walk or bicycle or ride bikes to their homes.
The electromagnetic pulse of the nuc blast would make majority of the vechicles unoperatable---. The high energy blast would have blown up the car motorcycle bus truck batteries---the ignition coils in these vehicles would be fried so the cars motorcycles etc won't start---only chance would be the vehicles with diesel engines---.
People would want to run away from the impact zone----it would be all chaos and mayhem on the roads---.
People farther off would want to make an immediate dash to pickup their near and dear ones from schools colleges hospitals---as the electric grid would have fried---signals would not be working---the traffic rush would create accidents---which would create more panic in the pubic to get away---which would results in tempers flaring up---fights starting and eruption of massive chaos on the streets---.
Neither are the trains working and nor are the buses---in a mega metropolis india with a mega population---that in itself is a death sentence to the city---. As the police force and the rescue services would not have room to move---there would not be any help available to the victims---.
Fires that have started would spread rapidly---and as the electric grid had gone down---the water supply to the city would come to a stop.
As the time goes on---street gangs would be coming out---women children girls would be a fair game for the criminals---. It would be next to impossible for the people to get to their places of residence---as many an indian commute a lot to work---so the number of those stranded on the streets would be extremely high.
In the first 12-24 hours---the city would be running out of food---the water shortage would already be there---the hospitals would be operating at beyond capacity with minimal resources---.
The first night would see the loot and plunder by the gangs---rape murder chaos and mayhem would take charge of the streets---.
By this time---residential toilets as well as public toilets would be overflowing with fecal material---and by the middle of second day as most people would be out on the streets trying to find a way out---the city would be totally out of food and water.
The lucky ones would have found a way out of the city---but those left behind---and that would be a very large number would be vulnerable to the onslaught of diseases related to coliform bacteria---.
By the 3rd day---all the population exposed to radiation would start to show the first signs of sickness---that is diarrhea / dysentry due to exposure to radiation---once that happens---the poor tragic souls would ultimately die in a pool of their own secretions---and that death is a terrible death---with convulsions and massive heaves of muscles wanting to let go and nothing but blood coming out---.
The nuc strike in one city would create a massive chaos in other large cities as well---where the rich people would want to escape and less richer wanted to follow the lead---. A similar chaos would occur in cities not hit by the nucs---traffic mayhem would cause major and multiple accidents---which would start fights---which would result in fires---transformers burnt out---water system damaged---city's services unable to compete and control the onslaught of destruction.
The city folks adding to the fire by wanting to get out of the city---but finding no place to go. Those traffic jams---once they get out of hand---would wreak havoc on the community---.
This is just a simplified scenario that I wrote about many a years ago on this website---.
The man in the first youtube video---I am surprised he did not mention that part---which is the most worrisome part in the immediate aftermath of a nuc strike.
