Yes wish Pakistan took him to task and lot of Pakistanis might be peeved when he claimed diplomatic immunity and walked away. That would have been a mighty bitter pill to swallow. She is Italian origin or whatever but the thing she has Indian citizenship and elected by Indian people. And she disowned Italian citizenship and learned to speak Hindi as mentioned Indian citizenship act. We elected her because we feel she is Indian now, if you see problem not our issue. In India dual citizenship is not allowed.

And having an elected naturalized solely Indian citizen as party head is much better than having MNA in your country who keep dual citizenship. You have Dual citizenship with 16 countries 13 of which are Europeans/North American and only 3 are Muslim countries. At least we don't have that rubbish of dual citizenship in India where a person with american citizenship can become member of Parliament so common in your country.

Actually ....it would be of benefit..India politics only did it so our corrupt to hell politicans could milk the system for so long. Many NRI's left due to the massive corurption that is evident in India. These folks would actually bring about unbelieveable change. That;s MMS is asking them to come back and help India but he won;t allow them to become citizens again...for NRI's its not an issue but for those who had to give up their citizenship for job reasons and who have children born in foreign countries. India is at fault for alienating us.


For Sonia, you have to live 20 yrs and speak Hindi. In a globalized world like today its hard to do live in one place for so long. Also, not all of us have the resources and money that the Gandhi dynasty has accumulated over the years...

You can understand this move on part of GoI as this is a pretty high-profile diplomatic issue and there is no point in making it worse by creating a fuss over the food and what not.

My post has nothing to do with Sonia - I was saying how Kasab has a fancy life even throwing tantrums at prison guards and get to eat biriyani in prison. Even a terrorist gets this kind of treatment, so will be for Italian Marines. - I was just countering the Barbaric show trials arguments here.
