Mehru, I see you as a moderate thinker here and although I don't agree with your politics every time. I do respect the fact that you are trying your bit.

I'm reminded of the day that your Governor was killed and the admins and mods here were banning the extremist voices here, and the extremist prevailed finally by being loud as usual .

With all due respect and deference to all- I was wondering how can there be an expectation of fortitude among the moderates to take on these extremist in real life - if we see a far more educated group here, fold like a deck of cards by giving in_ especially when they don't have any real risks?

i would not say that a terrorist is made this way, however this trend definately leads to gender abuses , the evil is overall prevalent in the society.
But the most remarkable thing is huge majority of women by far have a greater potent to be adaptable and submissive to great odds they face in almost every society/culture of the world. Its truly a famine property.

You know Ahmed! In our country you will see lot of rallies for one thing or the other but never for women. Well can't blame them for that. They are the ones who do this. How can they hold rallies against themselves? Before reading this article, i never thought about it but yeah i tend to agree with this article.
Not just women, noone even has the guts to talk about minorities, another vulnerable group.

if u pakistani women want west so u got it!!!!:face-palm: you cant have a western liberalism and the pakistani respect and deginity of women the same time, if u want a western life, then you will have to surrender all your pakistani society luxuries to have the rights of a western women, parents will throw you out after you are 15, to find a job and hard labour, to find a boy friend and to establish your own home, not to be supported by a man when you are desparate and crying for having so much pain in hard labour, your brother will never be bother will you, same level of treatment, same level of labour, no pakistani women previliges(you will be treated like a man), and i know how women are treated in west besides their 'women rights' so dont lecture us on being 'evil pakistanis'

what do you think is there any islamic law in any islamic country ..........even saudia does not have complete islamic law and forget about pakistan .... i didn't quote any of the current islamic state i openedly said era which belongs to HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW and if you didn't go through the history and then you should read it era of HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW and era of HAZRAT UMAR RA ............ and then you will feel the clear difference between the current so called islamic state and islamic state which was set by HAZRAT MUHAMMAD SAW and then later by HAZRAT UMAR RA......
