Oh Bhai... Indian Punjab call itself charda while Pakistani Punjab lehnda. Whatever these words meant before doesn't matter. Today, and since 1947 it means Indian Punjab and Pakistani Punjab.

By the way the way you define these two words by literal meaning. Do you even know what lar o bar means ? Lar mean below bar mean above. These words also means the one above hidnokush and below hindukush.

Not true.. 'Lehnda Punjab' and 'Charda Punjab' are merely relative geographical terms with no ethnopolitical overtones or undertones. There is no Punjabi equivalent of "lar o bar yau Afghan". Anyone who claims otherwise is either grossly misinformed or is being deliberately disingenuous.

Punjabis living on the east of Radcliffe line are different from Punjabis living in Pakistan in many ways.

While Sikhs of Indian Punjab do have religious connotations and meaning attached to the land of Punjab, much of which is now a part of Pakistan, Pakistani Punjabi Muslims do not share this sentiment
