ISRO to flight-test GSLV with indigenous cryo on August 19

Why don't they use Kaveri engine instead of CE-7.5, isn't Kaveri's thrust is more than 73KN..
It's because kaveri is gas-turbine engine, they are only used for industrial, marine, and plane propulsion application, moreover they require oxygen to operate so they can't be used in vac.
CE-7.5 and kaveri are both different engines.

Is that a pressure gauge that I see in the picture of the cryogenic engine? Is it going to be sent on GSLV with that???

Best of Luck to all the scientists in ISRO

*fingers crossed*

one thing to seek divine intervention and another to believe in astrology.... do they also sacrifice a goat...

they don't believe in astrology dude, it's just peace of mind. I'm sure that many chiefs at Nasa go to church before a human flight.

All the best Scientists.
