Yeah.. We are far behind US, Russia, Europe and China in Space technology..

In 2003 Pakistani President General Musharaff said India was far behind Pakistan in Space technology. With this latest PSLV launch, we are fast catching up with Pakistan in Space and missile technology..

Inaugurating the satellite, the president described it as a truly historic achievement for Pakistan and Pakistanis. “This marks a tremendous achievement demonstrating the skill and technical excellence of the country’s manpower.”

“Pakistan’s space programme is now ahead of India after the formal launching of Paksat-I and this is due to the hard work of our scientists and I am sure Indians would take another 30 months to do the job,” Gen Musharraf claimed.

all hese are ordinary things like launching a satellite

u put glass in water
goal in ball
gun in a bulet
or launched 8 satellites in space while having two in launch vehicle

don't feel jealous,sending satellite is not a joke,Chandrayaan-1, Oceansat-2 and all other satellite are a achivement for ISRO and India...

And ya wait for 2013 when india are sending MARS Mission and 2015 for Indian human spaceflight.......

Buddy this is a great achievement and the ocean sat is used to explore the fishing zones and resources. Apart from that we have gained the reputation of successful launch, which in turn can gives us good market in launching satellitesc

Yes Indeed, But ISRO will never confirm this. Because it projects itself as totally civilian in nature and would not risk international collaboration by going public on MIRV.
