Our regional navigation system is doing astonishing work..
Lets make it global..:welcome:

LOL, these morons still think that we are launching rockets for national pride, and ignoring business of launching sattelites completely.
Even folks from countries like Zambia and Middle-east are parroting the usual B.S about poverty , health and what not. As if we are doing these for free for others. Idiots.

.
I just checked,

The heaviest satellite is the CARTOSAT at 650kg, the next two Indian satellites weigh 15 kg each.

The remaining 101 satellites weigh 820 kg, of whom US launched 88 satellites weighing 5 kg each.

Total payload was 1500 kg.

Also, just to prove my point.

G Manhattan Nair, the former chairman of ISRO also said, that this launch is no big deal as you can launch as many satellites as
Actually u r right and wrong.
The RELIABILITY of pslv is remarkable , eg spacex accidents . Space is hard.
The payload is not remarkable ..1450 kg.
Safely unloading 104 satellites , with some having a gap of only 0.1 sec is remarkable.
Being transparent and always transmitting live is remarkable. Like chinese normally start their transmission only if initial stages are successful.

But what did Modi do here?

I do not see any space agency in the world except NASA and ISRO has the guts to live telecast of such complex mission. We show on PDF that some people kept on congratulating one other for 2 days on launching a so called great communication satellite till the news came that actually that mission had failed and satellite is doing rest at the bottom of sea.

Don't need to mind them...
People tend to hate it when others progress. It's a common human nature..

Mostly are white ball Brits or Pakistanis from mid east ranting on aids poverty toilet. Even it's very irrelevant to consider their comments specially Pakistanis which can only retaliate ISRO by testing a missile..It will fade away once India puts itself as one of the strongest player in the world..The time is not so far...
You won't find any educated is commenting such way on such achievement...:D

India has created history by successfully launching 104 satellites on a single mission, overtaking the previous record of 37 satellites launched by Russia in 2014.
All but three of the satellites are from foreign countries, most of them from the United States.
The launch took place from the Sriharikota space centre in east India.
Observers say it is a sign that India is emerging as a major player in the multi-billion dollar space market.
"This is a great moment for each and every one of us. Today we have created history," project director B Jayakumar was quoted as saying by the Reuters news agency.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first to congratulate the scientists tweeting, "This remarkable feat by @ISRO is yet another proud moment for our space scientific community and the nation. India salutes our scientists."

Why India's commercial space programme is thriving
Of the 104 small satellites, 96 belong to the United States while Israel, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and the Netherlands are the other foreign clients.
An Indian cartographic satellite, believed to be capable of taking high resolution images is also on board. It is expected to be used to monitor regional arch rivals Pakistan and China.

The BBC's Sanjoy Majumder in Delhi says the successful launch is yet another feather in the cap of India's ambitious space programme that has earned a reputation of offering a reliable low cost alternative to existing international players.
The Indian government has increased the budget for its space programme this year and also announced plans to send a mission to Venus.
Over the past two decades, India has become a key player in the lucrative commercial space market offering a low-cost alternative.
