ISRO contemplating mission to Venus

ISRO allocates Chutta Change for Interplanetary missions. Mission to Mars is a proof of that.

That was a super small mission with 20 kg payload.
I don't think we would be looking to launch another mission on pslv at all.

The chandrayaan 2 requires gslv mk2/3.

More waste from ISRO but now it isn't so unexpected. Under the new leadership (not Modi) they prefer the pomp and show over actually achieving something, proof of which is now seen with MoM and now this useless Venus mission, all distracting resources (money, manpower, rockets and so on) from the ever important GSLV program.
