That would be a more convincing criticism if it came from somebody who was willing to consider facts and logic when they don't favor his stand as well as when they do. For if you're only applying reason when it favors you then you are, by definition, an unreasonable person, your judgment of right and wrong is reduced to pure self-interest, so your judgment on larger moral issues is without merit.
