Israeli Moon Mission Fails: Spacecraft Crashes

If any alien is killed this crash than they will be coming for revenge and Jews will be responsible for inviting troubles to world like they have been doing since thousands of years.

Good try, Better luck for next try

Yes, in this world only Indians like you have comprehension skills ... you already got slaps but I know that your are under influence and your comprehension level is now in negative band.

Other than abuse, why don't you talk a single word about the intentional crashes and the pollution caused by them on Moon by U.S.A, EU, U.S.S.R/RUSSIA, CHINA or even INDIA, huh??

Actually you were the one more concerned about the pollution caused by Israeli crash.

LOL.. US too buy Spartan C-27J aircraft and import oto melara gun buy Belgain FN MAG machine gun. So you mean they can't produced those by themselves?
These are their NATO allies, small contracts logistic issues.

Those are just part of diversify purchase but nothing cutting edge which we cant produce. Are you going to claim Su-35 is better than J20?
Su-35 and S-400 are billion contracts. Obviously u can't do better.

.
It's not called you made it if you crash on into it
You dont even have a SLV rocket and you still have the audacity to speak about efforts others make??? we will see when pakistan places a satellite in LEO...

Westerners are still saying that soft landings on the moon are simple in order to rate China's lunar probes and rovers. In fact, so far, it can be said that only Russia, the United States and China have achieved a soft landing on the moon.
we will be 4...

we will be 4...
when exactly?

1) It was a private company.

2) They managed to enter the moon orbit from he 1st time. That is pretty good (only 6 large countries did it before).

3) The major reason of landing failure is that because for sake of cost and weight saving systems were not duplicated.
Fair enough, your israeli central gov cares more Golan Heights occupation and localization than any things else!
Supporting israeli space exploration is not something that israeli central gov should do ?

An image shows the Beresheet spacecraft before it crashed in the moon's surface.

(CNN) Israel's Beresheet, the first privately-funded mission to the moon, has crashed.
The spacecraft aimed to perform a soft landing on the moon and would have made Israel the fourth country to do so -- and by far the smallest. Only the United States, the former Soviet Union and China have done it before.

"I am sorry to say that our spacecraft did not make it in one piece to the moon," said Opher Doron, the manager of Israel Aerospace Industries' Space Division.

"We made it all the way to the moon. This is a great accomplishment. We are the seventh country to make it all the way to the moon."

The $100 million spacecraft, built by SpaceIL and Israel Aerospace Industries, lost communications with the control room in Israel during the landing sequence. As program managers who had been watching the mission in real time tried to re-establish communications, they also dealt with issues in the spacecraft's main engine.

At the time of the communications failure, the Beresheet was traveling at approximately 2,110 mph and was about 120 kilometers (about 74 miles) from its intended landing site.

"There is a suspicion that we did not land on the moon in the best fashion. We are trying to clarify the matter," a member of the SpaceIL team monitoring the landing sequence said.
The spacecraft crashed in the last part of its journey, moments before it was supposed to land.

SpaceIL was founded eight years ago to compete for the Google Lunar XPrize. The contest offered $20 million for the first privately funded team to launch a spacecraft to the moon, transmit high-definition video and travel 500 meters in any direction.

The XPrize was cancelled in January 2018 but the Israeli team decided to continue its pursuit of the moon landing.

The Beresheet spacecraft was launched on board a Falcon 9 rocket in late February. It traveled a total of 4 million miles to the moon, soaring around the Earth before entering orbit around the moon.

May be next attempt..

You are very selective. You mean Russia is not China allies?

These billion are still very small compare to much more arsenal of China. They are not the main weapon of China. As we have J-20 and HQ-26 SAM.

Anytime during second half this year (Chandrayaan-2). But not sure about the exact schedule though. :-)
It will be delayed again. Trust me :enjoy:

So what ?? Still we are in the league of select few nations out of 195 in the world who have the capability to reach moon and have an ongoing robust research about that. Therefore no worries. It's always better late than never. ;)

If you go thru you first response on my post you will clearly find who started the abusing session. But I know you are an Indian and will be in denial mode.
There is a saying, pay respect and have respect.
My point is that the crash on the moon surface caused pollution. It was Israeli craft which crashed.

Actually you were the one more concerned about the pollution caused by Israeli crash.
I concerned about the crash.
Now your claim is that I have one more concern. Who gave you the permission or authorisation to interpret others?

Space exploration is super costly thing. So far its done only by major powers:

1) US
2) USSR
3) EU
4) Japan

Plus 5) China and 6) India did several symbolic missions. Ironically modern Russia never launched anything to any planet or moon in almost 30 years.

Israel is tiny compare to these 6 monsters. This moon mission was purely symbolic they made not bad: orbiting the moon from the first attempt, they were close to land too.

Going by Indian standard. Chandrayaan-2 will be delayed by further 99 years until it got the nod to launch.

You are in denial. China never just did symbolic launch. China is no doubt a major space power that even surpass Russia and Japan.

China did 2 successful lunar soft landing and attempt the never before soft landing on far side of moon. CHina is going to build a complete self effort space station in 2020. China space payload current is the highest besides US. China has also complete the Beidou -3 high precision GPS system global in 2020.

Introduction

I told you a month ago, "never sell the bear's skin before one has killed the beast".

Beresheet is no more, it crashed on the lunar surface.

At 19:20 UTC, the descent module vertical speed started to turn YELLOW after main engine failure (60.1 m/s, previously ~25m/s), at an 10,124 meters altitude.

Then at 19:21 UTC, the descent module vertical speed turned RED, reaching 79.6m/s, at a 8236 meter altitudes, then 134.3m/s before the end of all telemetric retransmission.

Then simply deleted from the list at 22:29 UTC+3 to spare the humiliation of having to announce the crash of the flight !

Commentary

Game Over, spaceflight is one of the most difficult technological challenge, not a stunt for the dilettante.

One can not skip ALL the incremental steps required to perform such a complex space mission successfully without consequence.

Don't forget that the Google X Prize stunt was aimed at belittling China's manned space achievement ("see everybody, even 3 German expats in Shanghai or Team Tibet can launch a man into space, it's that easy"), then Google Lunar X Prize to further overlook the achievement of China's Lunar landing.

Today this decade long farce is finally over. China is rightfully recognized as the space superpower it is. And Israel, the minor power it always was and will be. Not to mention all the bogus other teams.

But the epoch making month of April is not over, North Korea will surprise the world with its own technological prowess, so stay tuned! As the real and undisputed 4th space superpower.

Whats the new thing have we learned from all Chinese moon missions? Rover on far side is good technological achievement, but in terms of exploration it does not give us much.
