oh please get a life seriously whats with you insecure brats everytime there is a thread about India's missile shield one of you guys always posts about wiping out India or some BS like that will in reality we are a country that is much more larger it would take nearly half of your nuclear warhead arsenal just to take out a state like Goa because Pakistani nuclear warheads do not exceed more than 2KT

our warheads go over 100KT it would only take 5 of those to wreak havoc on your nation 25 to wipe you guys out

and since our ABM is progressing not only will you be seriously disadvantaged but incapable of wreaking havoc on India and when you try that first strike and fail you will get the "massive" retaliation for first use

my advice to you and your countrymen is unless you want to sht strontium-90 stfu and focus on peace and development of your country because if you try that nuclear warfare BS with us not only will you not get your wanted results but there will be no Pakistan left on the map.

As the Indian counter-attacks picked up momentum, Pakistani prime minister Nawaz Sharif flew to meet U.S. President Bill Clinton on July 4 to obtain support from the United States. Clinton rebuked Sharif, however, and asked him to use his contacts to rein in the militants and withdraw Pakistani soldiers from Indian territory. Clinton would later reveal in his autobiography that "Sharif's moves were perplexing" since the Indian Prime Minister had travelled to Lahore to promote bilateral talks aimed at resolving the Kashmir problem and "by crossing the Line of Control, Pakistan had wrecked the [bilateral] talks." On the other hand, he applauded Indian restraint for not crossing the LoC and escalating the conflict into an all-out war.

G8 nations supported India and condemned the Pakistani violation of the LOC at the Cologne summit. The European Union also opposed Pakistan's violation of the LOC. China, a long-time ally of Pakistan, insisted on a pullout of forces to the pre-conflict positions along the LoC and settling border issues peacefully. Other organizations like the ASEAN Regional Forum too supported India's stand on the inviolability of the LOC.

Faced with growing international pressure, Sharif managed to pull back the remaining soldiers from Indian territory. The joint statement issued by Clinton and Sharif conveyed the need to respect the Line of Control and resume bilateral talks as the best forum to resolve all disputes.

Pakistan did not lost the war in Kargil. Pakistan decided to retreat due to tremendous international pressure. Indians witnessed Pakistani troops leaving their positions and assumed that they have won. And later on, Bollywood projected the bogus tales of valor and success in movies.

oH or else you would have stayed there and claimed that Kargil is your land, come on mate, first and formost thing is that,
1) your army crossed the line for nothing to hold on to,
2) what army in the world disowns its fallen comarades other than PA. your PA did not even claim the body of the fallen heros of your nation in the Kargil war.
3) you retreated because you got extra pounded by the IA and IAF. and you now say to the world because the world said you retreated as if your then IA chief was interested in the worlds views.
